Weird lighting issue?
My graphics card is a bit below the minimum specs, so I've been surprised by how well the game runs and looks even on medium settings after making a few tweaks (changing to CAS up-scaling seems to be the most significant one), but I'm having an issue with the lighting that's kind of ruining it for me.

Basically the issue is that the lighting/colour of the entire scene seems to change really drastically and abruptly depending on the position of the camera. It's not so noticeable in space, in totally enclosed interiors, or on barren planets, but it's often really pronounced moving around and in and out of buildings or trees on planets with atmospheres.

From what I understand, there is an intentional feature where the lighting or shaders change quite suddenly when you walk into and out of buildings (although I don't understand why this exists and I wish I could disable it, because I find that weird and jarring enough already!), so I'm guessing it's probably related to that feature, but even if I stay in one room and just rotate the camera slightly, or zoom in and zoom out, or switch between first and third person mode, the lighting will often change really suddenly and bizarrely - the whole room might switch between a murky blue to everything glaring bright yellow light based on the camera moving a foot.

I've tried fiddling with all of the different settings, and a few things in the ini, rebuilding the shaders, updating my drivers, but nothing seems to make any difference. Obviously I'm not expecting it to be perfect since my graphics card is below the minimum spec, but mostly everything else looks decent and runs smoothly, so it feels like a very weird and specific issue.

Does anyone have any idea what's causing this or how I might fix it or at least mitigate it? Is it something in the game settings? Or just a bug? Or something in my PC's graphics settings? Or just some limit of my hardware?

Can upload some screenshots later if it's not clear what I mean.

Why is that by design???? Do people want that??? I was convinced it was a bug - i find it so jarring. Like that isn't how anything looks in real life!

Sorry, there are actually several mods on the Nexus with LUT in the title. Do you know which one specifically? I'm not really a technical graphics person (as may be obvious!) so I find it a bit difficult to understand what each of them do exactly.
