easy side mission, that'll get you a few thousand and some xp.
ha. must have posted right after i replied. lol
Mass Effect did the same thing! Not excusing the mission, but it's a "Been There! Done That!" kind of mission. Most missions are like that these days as it is hard to be original when you need to have as many quests as this game is suppose to have.
The thing you should be upset with is the "Your choice does not matter" affect. You get the same experience and the same credits not matter how you give the info in. So far that is. Does anyone know if anything happens later with the Trade Authority for this. She says they will remember this but nothing really changed.
(first as mentioned if you are able to read you can see who and why)
secondly its nice to make the player familiar with the movement in the game (yay for reaching places by jumping around and pulling yourself up)
got a small chuckle out of the 3 small twists to how quest like this are normaly playing out
1. you can just leave after the first part and leave the npc to her fate
2. the npc warns you about it going to turn violent and then the other party happily offers cooperation instead
3. the npc knew that the other faction offered money and is pretty happy if you do the just thing
Only nitpick would be that all these dang quests are handled mass-effect-style, just creepily overhearing npcs (who are all talking very, very loudly about them)
