While the workshop still exists for Skyrim it was still a major blow to their plans.
You wouldn't MO2/vortex and nexus are all you need to mod.
SOMETIMES easier to use, and it might work even then, all it really does is make my mod authors annoyed when soybrains mass download mods off that god awful platform and then come crying and drooling when it doesn't work.
there's a reason why most mod authors act like it doesn't exist when better alternatives exist
the restrictions for what's allowed it extremely stifling
