Where're my crew members?

Hi!
So I'm still early in the game. I have Sarah, Adoring fan, Vasco, Lin and Heller as my crew members. Since the starter ship only has room for 3 followers, Lin and Heller were both "unassigned". They stayed on the ship regardless while I was wondering around and I used them as pack mules.

Things is that now that I reached a city and wandered around in it, Lin and Heller are nowhere to be seen on my ship! I can see them in my crew menu as unassigned and stuff but it doesn't tell me where they are!

I read that there's suppose to be an activity mission called 'Retrieve Your Companion' for it but I don't have it in my log.

Can you guys help me find them? Thank you!

Open your character screen with TAB and choose Ship in the left bottom corner of the ring. Now the ship screen should open. Now press C. Now CREW screen opens and shows you WHERE your crew members should be right now, on what planet and in what city/settlement.

How do I reassign a crew member back to the Lodge?
