Didn't even notice ethnicity of NPC
For me they are all Humans. I don't get some obsession with that on both sides to be honest....

That was the point

You don't have a point. Pretending it's stupid to notice race is stupid, first of all because it can be disrespectful and even insulting, second because everyone knows it's a false statement. So maybe rephrase your lying statement to "I don't notice race out-loud".

I guess I need to go find out that bit of lore there. Did everyone make it off planet? Did the evacuate country by country? Did they do cities first? Did they just let people do it on their own?

I'm pretty curious actually.
Tbh I am now curious also. Because you can find NASA museum ruins on Earth and some info there and some info from NPCs around the galaxy, but I ran through NASA museum a bit too fast

Is it in Florida or Texas?

Maybe I don't. Because unlike some people, I don't focus attention on skin colour or nationality and etc, but on what person does and how they act. He/she/they/it/whoever can be purple with polka dot all I care

I am pretty sure there are no states or even United States on Earth 2330. And you get to visit the NASA museum as part of the main quest anyway, so you can't miss it

On the other hand, as a woman I feel over-represented and patronized.

Seems like about 80% of the dialogue is women. What I dislike is how they can't seem to ever make a female antagonist with any depth ... it's always some catty daytime drama thing, or some "fly" gang-banger.

I am more outraged by how bad the npcs all look. Especially the bug-eyes i see on all of them. Damn that's scarier than the new exorcist movie

Yes, I know that, I landed several places but the continents are still intact. I was thinking I could land at Florida and find the museum but thanks for telling me I don't need to bother trying to find it that way.

+1

There is only 1 race, the human race.

But I wonder if you can find NASA Launch Tower just by exploring. Someone said that planet tiles are all interconnected so you should be able to run around the planet. It is very far still though. Starfield WIKI says it should be at cape Canaveral, Florida

Thanks. Sorry for shattering your pretend reality. Goodbye.

Since “not noticing” is the best way to go no one should be upset if every npc was white or purple, right? Right? Predominantly white npc (also, predominantly male in the games featuring combat) should have never been an issue to the virtue signaling crowd, and the game developers should not have gone out of their way to make 90% of their npc black with a few token asians and middle-eastern (and mostly female) npc if they truly “did not notice.”

Judging by the real world demographics the overwhelming majority of the npc should be Asian, though. Not only are they much more numerous and famous for their work ethics, but they are also at the top of the IQ charts, which should matter a lot in any futuristic world dominated by technocracy. Instead, we got… what we got: Microsoft’s identity politics.
