1 - Go to: C:\XboxGames\Starfield and copy/move all the files that are inside the "Content" folder.
2 - Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and create a folder named "Starfield" in which you'll paste the files.
3- Clic "Install" on Steam and check if it right away says "VALIDATING" in the download menu. If it says "DOWNLOADING 0.00/92GB", it means that you pasted wrong the files and you have to cancel and uninstall the game and then check that there's no C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Content
Im my case by doing this the download was reduced from 92GB to 2GB.
4- Have fun!
I had 3 achievements unlocked before playing on Steam, and none of them popped up after loading the save game.
It worked to speed up the download, but it didn't bring my save game over ;-;
Thank you very much!
This worked for me aswell. Thanks alot to you too!
This also worked for me, Thank you! I never normally post in the discussions but had to for this :D
There is one file that says you'll need to provide administrator access to copy this file, and that is screwing me right now
i'm probably late, but that file is probably the starfield.exe, you dont need to copy it, i copied the data folder only and i let the steam validator handle the rest.
