Pronouns but no brightness settings??

What a time to be alive! You are forced to pick pronouns but for unknown reasons, there isn’t an in-game brightness option to make the game brighter or darker.

Brightness is a modifier to make dark things lighter. Can't have people seem too white. It's problematic and dangerous and makes ADL starting posting things on Twitter.

Seems more like an issue for your local police department if you were somehow forced (hint: it wasnt the game) to pick pronouns.

I can literally go through the character creation screen and then switch out of it without being forced to pick a pronoun. Maybe your game is different or you are unable to proceed without touching a button you don't have to touch.

I think the problem that alot of people have is its pandering to unsettled science for a very small group of people (we're talking single digit percentages) who are trying to control the direction of Western society that again most people do not agree with nor support.

When I say the science is unsettled I mean that in Europe atleast many health services and care providers have moved away from self affirmation and to one of structured psychological care/input - the most notable is the British NHS but France and Norway have done the same aswell.

The US system seems to be dominated by pressure groups and big pharma who are making an absolute fortune off of the back of this new industry that has only really come about in the last 10 years or so.

This is me being quite objective.

No Brightness Slider, No FOV Slider, Terrible Performance, Reliance on AI upscaling and a copium community who believes it'll get better with mods.

From a coding perspective, adding another set of pronouns is a 5 minute project. Implementing a brightness slider that plays nice with all of the GFX permutations that might be playing the game... That's a much bigger, and more expensive, project.

Come on man, they've only had ten years to develop this game. You can't expect them to include... basic functionality like a brightness slider. It might come in a patch in a year or two, we should just show gratitude if we ever get it. It will show they care and are our friends.

Arguably though which is more impactive for the playability of the game?

I'd say a brightness & FOV sliders are critical components to any modern title.
