Where to find a class c ship?

I upgraded my piloting to allow me to fly a class c ship, but sadly so far I can't find any seller selling them. Any advice?

I found out that it allows using class c ship parts if building ships yourself, but not sure how ship sellers gets different class ships

The ship tech at Akila City sells the Stronghold which is a huge class C ship.

Are ship classifications based on grade of components or efficacy of the ship based on its stats?

Also, is c class better than b class?

I think what dictates a ships class is the reactor, if you have a class A reactor you can only use class A parts, class B reactor is both A and B parts, and class C reactor allows for A, B and C parts.
So if you cant find a C class ship just upgrade the reactor to C class and you are good to go!

A lot of ships are not visible at the vendors before starting NG+.

I have my eye on the VISTA since i have enough money and the piloting skills, and the vendor in Neon should sell it but i have to wait for NG+ i guess.

Sorry for late reply was away, but yeah you should be able to, just go into "ship builder" (not "upgrade ship" but the actual builder) and replace the reactor with a class C reactor, then you can use class C shield, weapon etc!
