I bought the game but with open eyes and certainly didn't listen to anything Todd the Liar said.
"25 years in the making"
He also stated how there will be planets/moons that are "just a ball of ice", because that is space. But people act like the game is boring, because it has some boring planets/moons.
As for the original Op's comment, all I have to say to you is : Sounds like you've never played a Bethesda game before, because Bethesda games have been just like Starfield for as long as I've played them, and that's from Morrowind onwards.
So much freedom... So much exploration... I've never felt so totally free to explore a menu-based fast travel system in my entire gaming life!
Does the deluxe version with a T-shirt that says "Todd lies"? Or better yet, a coffee mug?
This fking rat is pretty good at it.
I now know what he has been doing for last 7 years the progress he and human race has made .
