And by god I got it.

I think people were expecting this game to be everything all in one.... If you wanted star citizen, no mans sky, and elite dangerous then you should go play those games.

This is a RPG set in space, not a space sim.

Why do you think this game is more like Mass Effect then the games I named above??

Because mass affect is an RPG set in space.

I honestly love this game.... also as someone who is very anti-woke I do not take any issues with this game being "woke" OK so there were pronouns.... not really a big deal. You see it once and it's gone. It's not like bg3 when every companion is trying to get into your pants no matter what gender they/you are.


All I wanted was a fallout in space and by god I got it with many more mechanics.... literally the only thing I think this game is missing so far is a type of land rover/portable vehicle that comes in your space ship.

TO be honestly I don't think your OG ship should have one... but I think when you get deeper into the game you should be able to buy ships that have land rovers in them.

For example when you are sent to mars early in the game for the main quest line.... exploring the area around the little city you are sent to it's a walking simulator. Well more of a low gravy bounce flying simulator... lmao

It would be nice to have a space rover to pilot to for example that space pirate base where ships are landing.


I think this game is everything they promised. Bethesda told you to think of "skyrim in space" They didn't say this game was no mans sky, they didn't promse you a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ that they did not deliver on launch like no mans sky. Another thing is they didn't tell you this was the ultimate space simulator game that you could do everything in and promise you the star citizen scam. (I hate the fact they are buying art pieces the cost of entire salaries in the new dev studio they made WHILE laying people off, WHILE still crowd funding more money... those people over at SC are sooo goofy......550 million dollars crowd sourced.... come on)


They told you it was going to be an RPG in space that was the grandest scale they have ever made.... and that's what we got. I would have honestly taken half the planets for them to spend more time on flushing out each planet but that's still possible. They can make so much expansions for this game, they could probably add on to this game for the next 20 years.

If you really wanted to fly your ship from space down onto the planet... I'm sure they could add that over time... BUT IS THAT REALLY WORTH THE DEV TIME AND MONEY???

What would you rather have. To be able to land on the planet yourself that costs 10 million to dev and 10k man hours to create or would you rather have an expansion that creates another mainline quest and adds more things to the game from ships,guns planets, land vehicles, quests, etc etc for 10 million and 10k man hours???

TLDR?? This game is fallout in space and I absolutely LOVE IT 10/10

major issue is also bethesda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on the marketing. a lot of their points made it look like no man sky for example. but it's far more like outer worlds with a bit of no many sky sprinkled in on the foundation of fallout 4

Yes and no. People are hating just to hate. I hate the pronouns thing but I also don't care. It's only in character creation.

The game definitely did make a bias towards having way less white people.... but you could logically argue as to why that is... the future will be more of a melting pot etc.
