just wait. There will be people who will try to convince you that 87% is somehow not good.

I dont know what those people are smoking, but I know they're out there and we have already seen them.

Both all reviews and steam only are trending down about 84% from 86% all reviews, steam only 87% from 90% over around 3-4 hrs. Review numbers and peak players is also really low so far, more here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1716740/discussions/0/3824173836668852092/

again.. steam numbers means nothing when the game is on gamepass day 1 aswell.

70 USD is a huge price and a lot of people would most likely go to gamepass, sadly we will most likely never get the number from microsoft. Don't think they have ever released it.

but in an age where games are released on multiple storefronts at day 1, looking on a single storefront number means almost nothing.

but but but you said 88% Horizon Forbidden west is a massive failure . You said FF16 87% is flop of the year .

if we just talk about PC. not consoles, doubt that have much to say with PC player numbers.

but with the big price of 70 USD, I can see a lot of people choose a cheaper option. And since Microsoft owns BGS, ofc they want more people to their own storefront.

Seems pretty accurate to what I called pre-release. 85-90% positive on release day thanks to the fans review bombing it with stuff like "Can't wait to bump into my character from Skyrim that got launched into outer space by a giant." Positive review bombing is still review bombing.

Then you will have normal people buying it based on these reviews, realise the game is mid at best and it will drop to around 70-75% in the next few days or weeks.

All of my indicators are pointing to this. Kinda like when a stock has a buzz, launches at something like 4x its on the book worth then comes down to earth (pun intended)

definitely it is, but it needs a few patches just like other games do after they ship out

I find it strange that people didn't expect it to be a bethesda RPG (that we known and love for) and was expecting else...

The moaner allways cry loudest. I never care, especially if they have just stupid arguments
Droolguy Sep 5, 2023 @ 10:47pm
70-75% would be fair IMO... this game, while not terrible, is solidly "meh".

Not bad enough for me not to play while I wait for the mod kit so I, and other modders, can fix all of Beth's mistakes for them and make a good game out of it.
