Now I don't kid myself that I am getting 60+ anywhere but probably isolated planets - but by the seat of my pants game is smooth, no lag - no issues with gun play in any fire fight (which is where you would notice).
I was all set to upgrade my system for Starfield - but I figure I can at least take my time to do that...
and you call this no issues?
LMAO
Ryzen7 1700x (Yeah I know lol, i was planning to upgrade but **** happened)
16 GB RAM
1080p G-sync
Only made it as far as meeting Vasco, but around 40-50 ish FPS on high on average.
I turned everything to Medium and I feel it made very little difference.
FSR, Motion blur, film grain all turned off.
Just reporting, I am not complaining or celebrating, I know my CPU is kind of old and I haven't updated drivers (Cuz last time I did, it made Cyberpunk worse), but maybe I will.
Well, except for the frame gen, which does work, but it feels like a band-aid
After following the recommendations, I am getting 45-80fps but much more on the higher end (stable) and the quality improved significantly. Give it a go.
I tried adjusting the settings but it changes very little.
What resolution? I am running at 2560x1080 and have no issues.
It could be 15-20fps better and more consistent, but no issues, and far from unplayable.
2560x1440
For me playing at 30/40 fps is unplayable and unacceptable, perhaps with those +15/20 that you say it could be something acceptable. (+60FPS)
Yeah, I find anything less than 60fps is terrible. With the HUB settings at least I got to a satisfactory level, but do hope for optimization.
