How do you power up Grav Drive?

I am trying to get to Alpha Centari and I cannot figure out how to power up the Grav Drive? I just keep hitting TAB and running in circles.

I do not even understand why they have a space ship in this game. All I want to do is fast travel to the next location and a space ship isn't really needed for that. All I need to do is click on the next location on a map and go.

hold down ALT , then use A/D to navigate the power level columns, then W/S to reduce power from other systems (like your weapons). The power will fill a pool below the system selector. Now, pump all that power into the Grav drive and you'll punch through

I watched a youtube video a couple of minutes ago and figured it out. What a pain. Nothing is intuitive when it comes to the ship.

It I only had to drain 1 engine power and transfer it to GRAV to get it to run to where I needed to go.

This ship makes me want to go back to the Normandy and click on a spot on the map and FTL right there in seconds.

They are shown on-screen but I did not have a clue what they were for till now.

from space /go missions /pick quest /route /then press jump..thats it !!
