30-40fps at 1440p with a 3080? Really?
I am using FSR as well, which makes it even crazier that i am somehow having trouble running this game at 60fps.. Its mixed on high/Ultra, but its at 1440p not 4k. If this is the actual performance of the game, i am refunding. Learn how to optimize games.

Lol. Maybe you should teach them how to optimize the game?

maybe lower the settings to Medium

Make sure to leave a negative review. People need to know that the system requirements are misleading

He’s not a game developer. They are

The game doesn’t scale well at all. Lowering the settings all the way down doesn’t actually seem to change that much in terms of performance

im about to test my 3080, been playing on a 3060, so far apart from an odd low res texture bug at the beginning of the game, it plays really well on the 3060. Im just about to try my 3080.

I've read similar things about people with a 3080. I have a 4080 laptop GPU which is equivalent or maybe a bit less powerful than a desktop 3080 and yet I get stable 60fps on 2560x1600 resolution on ultra settings (except shadows on high) and FSR on with 65% resolution scaling. Maybe the FSR doesn't work properly on 30xx series cards?

3080 is the mid tier GPU of 3 years ago. Its either PC master race or its PC play every game you want. You can lower resolution or graphic settings to get better FPS.

game is pretty poorly optimized on nvidia's side
amd it honestly doesn't seem too bad
im playing at 4k med/ high settings and getting 50ish fps
Same issue. Running 3080 at 1440p...after coming off of Armored Core VI--kinda hurts to look at.

did you scale down the render resolution? i have that avg fps at 1440p on 75% render on ultra with a 3060 ti

Yeah, running a 3070 here and it's... Rough. It's a shame too. I think I could enjoy this game through all it's faults if it just ran worth a damn.

did you mess with resolution scaling? that setting has the largest effect since thats how you make fsr do more heavy lifting

PC GPUs get outdated pretty quickly. That is the unfortunate nature of the beast, and precisely the main pro for PC in comparison to consoles. You have to either upgrade GPU or downgrade settings in order to keep the same FPS as time moves forward.
