I had similar issues in Skyrim and Fallout but editing the ini mostly fixed it. I had hoped that since this is a new game there would be more support for Ultrawide monitors. They are popular among gamers.
The resolution in the settings only applies to windowed mode. In borderless full screen it uses whatever your desktop resolution is set to. The setting is even called "Window Size" and the description is "Sets the game resolution in windowed mode."
What's your problem dagtag? why don't you cool out. Go take a nap or something.
The game doesn’t support ultrawide yet, so native resolution can’t be selected with an ultrawide monitor.
Whats your issue?
Currently it doesn’t have proper ultrawide support, that is widely known
