Collect you new ship

I finished helping ekland with his new ship design and was gifted one for free. Now it tells me to go collect it. Im sent back to their space staion where nothing happens. If i board the station the quest marker directs me back to the cockpit of my existing ship. has anyone been able to complete this nonsense?

I completed the quest, got it, and played for a bit before noticing that i think the ship disappeared and i have the activity once again, only pointing me to the spaceport on new atlantis where my current ship is. Bugthesda lol.

edit: i actually still have the ship but this bugged activity is buggin me lmao

Though I havent done said quest, whenever I've aquired a new ship, it should be viewable in the ship building screen along with your main ship. If not there, than I dont know. : |

The ship is waiting right outside the station, you can board it there.

I can view it if i go to the port. I just cant do anything with it. it says its registered already. but i dont have the skill to fly class B yet. meanwhile im unable to complete the quest.

Make it your home ship. That should fix it

At first I had the same issue. I docked with the station and thought i'd walk to another area to collect the ship. Instead, what you do is stay in your ship, target the new ship and then dock with it, then you go to the cockpit and collect it

Wait, so your issue is that you can't fly a B ship yet and that the ship they gave you is Class B thereefore you can't complete the quest because you can't fly it, right?

Working as intended then, get your B class license through your skills, fly your new ship.......

This was the answer I needed. I undocked from the shipyard and there it was. Had to dock with the new ship instead. Thanks!

For those wondering how to finish this, once I undocked the new ship from my personal ship, the mission updated. I then redocked (optional) and left with my preferred 'home' ship. The new ship was already in my ship list so I didn't need to take it anywhere.

This works. Once I did that, the quest was marked as complete.

True story. I hope they add actual capturing criminals so my crew stops locking themselves in the brig lol
