I want to know why they can't make it seamless for vendors in towns. Is it Creation Engine or stubbornness?
For things like shops, is the code so messy behind creation engine that walking to a shop door and seamless stepping into it is still too much of an ask? is it performance for console at stake? Same for the some what abandoned buildings on the planets.

At this point I don't think its just the style of their games having loading screens. Reminding you this game is released in 2023, but feels like 2010, one variable being the overstaturation of loadscreens. If this game is next gen, why couldn't BGS figure out yet how to improve QoL in their rpgs and make buildings seamless? Imagine how happy fans would be to see that. The bar is so low, standard features will impress. Like ledge grabbing, and show they are willing to let go of the archaic outdated formats they are slaved too. That only makes their games jankier as it keeps continuing in future titles.

I'd say a bit of both, but mostly the engine. The creation engine is pretty much just duct taped together at this point, and should be taken out back to be put down for good.

Please, it will be a crime before god if ES6 feels dated af somehow due to them still in an entanglement with creation engine. Even though we aren't seeing that game for a LONG time.

Pretty sure they already announced TES6 would also run on the creation engine. So if you think this feels dated, you can only imagine how it will feel in 8 years when TES6 comes out lmao.

Outdated engine and poor optimization. Instead of normal optimization, the level is divided into separate locations. It's not super new technology. There are many old space games where these problems have been solved. For example NMS, X4, Elite Dangerous.

Ask Todd personally if you want an answer, but my guess is this is just a complain. Me? Idc about 3 secs loading screens. i`m much more pissed about the reflex sights tbh.

No, because in many places, you can do exactly that. You just saw something you didn't like, and leapt immediately to the conclusion that it was the only way things were ever done in the entire game.
