Is there a way to increase FOV but when you are controlling a ship? I'ld like to see my whole ship not like half of it since cam is right behind cockpit

Mouse wheel pulls the camera back as far as it can go.

That's the only option that I've seen.
Go to: Documents, My Games, Starfield.
Create a new File that is Called StarfieldCostum.ini
Be careful that it really ends with .ini
In that file you copy:

[Camera]
fFPWorldFOV=100
fTPWorldFOV=100

Safe the File

This will increase you FOV in Ship and on Foot to 100. you can of course change the Number as you like but going to high will cause a fisheye effect.

Enjoy.

This is wrong. The above values are for first and third person FOV on foot. There's no direct ini FOV edit for ships. So far, it can only be done with console commands, and there's a mod that does that for you.

The reason players are seeing the ships too close, is because for some dumb reason, Bethesda tied ship FOV by default to first person FOV. So if you're actually using 100 FOV for first person, your ship will end up closer to the camera than default FOV. To test it, go turn down your FOV for first person then check the ship's FOV.

I'm fairly sure I saw a mod for this on Nexus, if you're interested.

since they still didn't add fov to flight camera, easy way to do it:
type this in console:
-just copy paste;)

SetGS "fFlightCameraFOV:FlightCamera" 90.000
SetGS "fFlightCameraOffsetBaseY:FlightCamera" -35.000
