Then I quickly returned to my ship and grav jumped away from the system. Nobody hated that.
And yes, it feels like a bug.
I mean seriously, how stupidly bugged and designed is this mission anyway?
1. Leave Sam behind near the Dumas airlock.
2. Sneak, fight or run to the cockpit. (Don’t forget to use drugs for speed and damage resistance.)
3. Find the captain.
4. Activate the console.
5. Click on the captain. (Do not attack him.)
6. Type “removefromallfactions [return]”.
7. Type “addtofaction 00010b30 1 [return]”. (This turns him into a crimson fleet pirate.)
8. Close the console.
9. Get the hell out of there and go back to Sam.
10. At this point Sam can kill him, or maybe his own crew will, but it doesn’t matter, he’s just a pirate.
Sam doesn’t get mad, and the ship, of course, is yours.
