i love when you guys pretend you dont know who Asmongold is
Some dude was just screaming at him on his channel awhile ago and he was calm as the Buddha and rational as hell
Quality entertainer right there
Gotta love it when ppl pretend to not know one of the biggest gaming icons
Can you blame them? No one is spamming video links to streamers who are enjoying the game, are they? The only people who feel the need to bandy around streamer clout are the ones who seem to want to tear the game down for everyone else. You're the ones causing the problem. The people pushing back are just responding to your toxicity.
You must be kidding.
Hideo Kojima, Sid Meier, Peter Molyneux, Hidetaka Miyazaki are gaming icons.
Not a YouTuber that makes clickbait videos.
There are over 1-1.5 billion pc/console gamers in this world. Asmon has 2-3 million subs. Most gamers (more than 99%, in fact) don't watch him and/or haven't heard of him.
Yes, I did. I watched the video. You've got two streamers - Asmon and Quin - who are benefactors of the system they're criticising railing against that system because - for various and differing reasons - they are both left out of it these days.
Both of them have benefited greatly from insider access to studios and games over the years, and they still do from time to time. When they're left out in the cold, though, it's corruption, it's fraud, it's "rigging reviews", it's "tricking consumers". etc, etc, ad nauseum. They're just as self-invested and just as happy to engage with these practices so long as they're part of the in-crowd. The problem is... no one wants to do business with Quin because he's an offensive buffoon, and no one wants to do business with Asmon because he's old news. All they have available to them now, as with anyone in the position they find themselves in, is toxic antisocial, know-it-all, pseudo-intellectual, fake counter-culture ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. All they have is their respective cults and a bunch of clouds to shout at. I guarantee you that if big studios started chucking keys and incentives at them, they'd sing a totally different tune. You wouldn't be able to hear them for all the corporate ♥♥♥♥ down their throats, of course.
So yeah... I frame their opinions of Starfield through the prism of two streamers who aren't in the industry in-group anymore. Don't get me wrong. Asmon has some opinions that are on point, but I don't think he's any more informed than me and I don't feel the need to follow him. I disagree with his opinion about Starfield. There are other streamers I agree with. Interestingly, however, I don't feel the need to jump on form groups and reddit to push my narrative and drive people to "my side". I'm not that insecure or childish.
Why is it hard to believe? I had no idea before you guys filled the forums with him. Not everyone is interested in streamers, just because you are, especially that one. Not rocket science.
i know for a fact that you knew of him before
