Would of been cool to see something a bit more original and play into the story (I have yet to discover how correct or irrelevant religion is in this game)
That wasn't what was off, it was the discussion about having an enjoyable dream based around it xD. Kind of points to one of the devs into the idea. The funny comment in the discussion "Why is this important anyways? Why are we wasting money finding out how long you can survive in a predator's stomach?!" The answer, was 16 hours lol.
Which means that dev wanted many people to experience it.
