Space encounter, directions needed.
So, I encountered this married couple in space, and they were arguing about which direction they needed to go.

I told them they just needed to go further in the direction they were already going, but I honestly have NO idea if that was accurate information or not.

Anyway, anyone play enough to know if that's the end of that, or if I'll run into them again later and find out if I sent them into a pirate nest or something?

I told them the opposite, but I had no clue since I couldn't actually look.

Alright, I picked "Honestly, I have no idea."

If any of us see them again, we report back here with our findings.

They do not actually give you any idea in which direction they are going, so the player has no idea. One of those troll side events, like the school bus and and Indian-accent researcher.

They don't really give the propor information to give an actual response. You have no clue were they came from, if they actually went past it or not.

It’s a sexist encounter, you’re supposed to choose depending on your own biases x)
I always choose to not choose, but I should next time, I wonder what are the results !

This is an encounter to either side with the wife or husband. I do not think it is more than that unless it shows up (I hope) later.

It's basically a pun. At least in the US. Or a meme if you prefer. The classic meme is a couple on vacation and the husband (driving) refuses to stop and ask for directions despite obviously being lost. Yes, it's sexist and it's definitely old-fashioned. GPS pretty much killed the meme for good so it's a bit lame that they used it for a random encounter. Grandma, on the other hand, is timeless :)

They actually do mention where they're headed. For me it was Volii Alpha, some others said it was elsewhere. Funny thing is, if I look at the star map volii is one jump away, but what I don't know is what direction they're coming from. That will tell me if it's next or if they passed it.

A couple blaster shots off the bow ended our conversation.

I'm a Privateer.

I've ran into this a event a few times, each in separate NG or NG+ runs. One time they said they were headed to Volii Alpha, but the other times it just entirely failed to mention a location. The line for it just doesn't play, so not only do I have no idea where they're coming from, I also have no idea where they're going, and they expect directions.

Anyway, I've picked all three options. Never seen them again after any of them, but that could just be a luck thing.

The first time I wanted to go for their grav drive. Is anyone able to board the ship?
I'm waiting to see how the game updates before I ever play again. I told them I have no clue, sided with the wife and the last with the husband.

I also because I'm a demented guy want to do that to the religious people.

However I could not resist having cookies with Grandma. A really nice old lady who has a spaceship instead of a boat or RV.

The party ship was...not much of a party.
