Help With "Eye of the Storm" (Crimson Fleet) *BUG?*

If you haven't gotten this yet, there will be spoilers here. But maybe someone else that's run into this issue can help me out.

I've gotten the array from Neon and installed it. I had the com spike already installed. It now will not progress past the 'install both the com spike and array' part. I removed the old ones and re-installed new ones with Jazz.

Still will not progress. I verified my install files. Still stuck at that part.

Has anyone had this happen and found a way around it?

Ok...found a fix if anyone searches for this with similar issues:

First, delete the com spike and array if you've installed them. Save and exit the game.

Verify the integrity of your game files in Steam. You will probably see some errors pop up.

Restart the game.

Go see Jazz on the Key and reinstall both the key and array; I did one up top and one on the bottom. It worked....going now to find the Legacy

I have the same bug, I verified integrity and did download a single file, but Im still getting the same bug. I also tried loading a save and it's not working either.

For me the freaking ship builder is not even loading when i ask jazz to help me with my ship v.v

Somehow it worked after ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with every single fix I found on the internet, I dont know what particularly fixed the issue, but honestly this mission is very buggy in every step along the way, I would just wait for a patch before trying this particular quest.

I have the same issue, but adding even more to the confusion. I selected the ship that I got on the Mantis mission, fitted the array and comspike, then my ship reverted to my original ship when I started level 1, and is also invisible. I re-select the ship that I fitted the new modules to, but when I enter the ship, it's still the old one? Very strange and frustrating bug. I'll try what you've suggested above.....

i was having this issue, I have multiple ships but the quest wouldn't accept i had installed the com spike and generator until i installed them onto the frontier.

i know this does not help, but i think it's important to mention that these are individual bugs, not general ones. i never had a problem with this storyline. to be fair, i never had any problem with any storyline. not a single questblock or bug. i consider myself to be lucky. :-)
