I've found three contraband items in my first 40 hours playing this game.
All over 10 grand a piece.

Yeah, check the value of a gin versus what you get for selling it and you'll see roughly the same pattern.
all depends on if you get scanned in orbit... if you can land can sell them anywhere i believe.
odd - i've sold them at the den. any trade authority will buy them, same w/ stole goods. but those you dont have to worry about being picked up is your ship is scanned
(edit by anywhere i meant TA vendors/kiosk.. same w/ stolen goods - but you dont have to worry about getting scanned for them.
