Space suit and helmet bugged.

The game does not register that I'm not in a settlement. My space suit and helmet are never showing. I can literally take them out of my inventory and throw them on the ground while standing on a planet with no oxygen and nothing happens. When I use the jet pack it will just pop into existence for the second that its being used then go away again. This completely ruins the immersion and I'm not going to play again until its fixed.

Same problem, first time apparaid on mars. Just before just sell items

same here, i have that option toggled from the inventory screen, but i still wear my full suit like when i step through an airlock.

and then, sarah's out here walking around with no suit in a zero atmosphere environment. so yeah, something ain't right lol.

The first time I really noticed it was on mars as well. before then I just assumed the planet I was on must have breathable Atmosphere. It wasn't till I was standing there in street cloths on the surface of mars while everyone around me is in a space suit that I realized that I'm never in my space suite.

I haven't used mods or console commands but ive accidentally brought up the console commands menu when i fat fingered the escape key.

Not to mention getting on my ship and seeing everyone else without a suit is game breaking. I would like to hide my suit on my ship and also while on a planet that does not require a suit. If my companions don't have to wear one, I should not have to remove my suit just to hide it. Where the mods at?

Does anyone know if the devs are aware of this bug? I went to report it on discord but believe it or not the star field bug report discord was... Bugged. Not even joking

Chameleon space suit, wearing all 3 pieces, went permanently invisible. Taking it off didn't fix it. I had to quit the game and reload my save to fix it.

Hiiii, i don't have MOD. I fixed my bug where I could walk around on the moon without a suit. Inside the city of mars, I teleported directly to the city on titan. My suit has reappeared.

It's happening to me on xbox series s so I'm gonna confirm it's a bug 100% happened to me on Mars as well.

Well, this helped. Thanks for the heads-up!
Had the bug too but fast traveling to another location without breathable atmosphere (or maybe fast traveling in general) solved the issue.

Have the same bug. Waling around Mars Surface with no suit (I have the hide suit in settlement option as well as hide helmet in breathable areas) I dropped all my space suit apparel while on surface of Mars and was still able to breath.
Fast travelling appears to fix it.
I fast travelled to another area on Mars without the space suit and started to suffocate. Returning back to Cydonia landing area and picked up my space gear and it is showing correctly again.
