Whoever made it cleary never played games with quests before.
If i enter an area it should not only show the active quest but all other quests that are within that area as well.
Maybe the active quest as gold and all others are blue.
Having to search the quest menu for objectives is just terrible.
Every day i hope for a modder to fix that broken mess.
Becourse cleary the Devs dont know how.
and lack of minimap
On the planet map you have empty circles telling you the names of the available quests that are not active.
But I agree, it would be nice to have it like Talk to John (New Atlantis, Commercial district), Talk to Sue (Neon Underbelly) etc. in the log.
But doesnt this work like most games? When you are near other missions they do pop in white.
No mini map
No optional compass for our player HUD
Inventory system is terrible
And.............................a problem I'm having is in game active side quest objective markers. On my PC "if they're displayed" they're a floating turquoise hexagon in game. If I put the scanner cross hair on them; text pops up and tells me what that objective marker is.
BUT......................about 66% of the time the objective marker for the next stage in a side quest doesn't display. e.g. Side quest is; "Kill the spacers at the abandoned mine".
So I kill 'em. Quest objective changes to "Return to Biologist at Research Outpost".
Only no objective marker for the Biologist is displayed; so I have to either wander about trying to remember what the NPC who gave the side quest to me looks like; oooorrrr.................
shut the game down and restart it (maybe more than once) to get the objective marker actually displayed to show the location of the Biologist within the Research Outpost.
Not game breaking but definitely Ggggggrrrrr!!!!!!! :)
Weird. The next stage always shows on my map. Plus arrows painting to it in the scanner, although of course the arrow just points to my ship if it's on another planet.
