GTA V is not an open world, You start off with a single mission and have to complete it before another single mission is available. at most you'll have 2 or 3 missions available at any one time. it's the polar opposite of an open world.

every quest can be completed one way or another without any skills. I also saw that video and one of the examples he used was a computer that he had to hack in the Mantis dungeon, you don't even need to hack the computer, you can take a stim and run through the turrets in the following room, or even solve the puzzle to prevent the turrets activating.
The game isn't the issue, it's people lack of imagination and puzzle solving.
An Open World game doesn't need to have missions or objectives. Just saying. So would Minecraft not be "open-world" then?
