No they are dumb. Running this on a i9-13900KF 5.80 GHz, 32.0 GB Corsair Vengence 6000MHz ram, and a ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4070ti 12gb GDDR6X video card and they are still dumb as hell. Trust me it's the game, and only a super bad player that thinks they are smart. They have no self preservation, they don't work as a group and they still suffer from Bethsda "it must have been the wind" garbage levels of AI.

97.5 hours in and am NG+ 6, level 121. The writing is garbage, they don't recognize faction clothing at all and even FONV did that 13 years ago, all you companions are bland nancies that hate everything you do that isn't sucking farts out of another NPCs bootyhole, the UI is atrocious, 95% of the planets that exist in this game are just copypasta in different colors, I can point out about 65 different ways they could have made this game 100% better. It's not that good 5/10 at best, 3/10 in it's lowest moments and maybe a 6.5/10 with 100 mods installed.

EDIT: Oh and they call it "next gen" game yet mirrors don't function, the graphics are dated and it's a load screen simulator.

If we compare players and playtime, this game is piss poor garbage, because since year 2000 the most popular game is Counter-Strike with over 10x more players at all times than this game. People can have a blast repeating 2-3 minutes long similar crossfires over and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, for years.
