How to check a ships class if its not yours?
I hijacked a ship on a planet but i cant use it how do i see what class it is?

go to a shipyard, go to view/modify ship, then register

no i cant use the ship thats what im saying. I would invest a skill point into B class but if its C i wont bother rn so im curios to see if i can see somehow if its B or C

Yeah the ship class crap is annoying. First mod I'm downloading is the removal of that limitation. That limitation also only applies to the reactor, which prevents other parts that are below the reactor grade.

It's a stupid system and I hate it. Makes building a ship that much more irritating.

i dont mind it so much but i want to know how to check the ships calss without claiming it lol

Just giving yourself the perks with the console would probably be easier if it's that annoying to you. People complained about shallow mechanics, they made it more complex but then other people complain. Everybody being able to do everything without investment is not very RPG.
