General Trading area in New Atlantis?
I'm searching New Atlantis for a general trading area without success. Or is there a better city I can visit for trading?

There is a shop to the left down the ramp at the spaceport in New Atlantis. It also sells almost all the building resources for crafting. Then in commercial district there is that distribution place that sells most types of ammo.

Thanks. More precisely, for anyone else searching, fast travel to commercial section and you are facing a signpost with UC Distribution dead ahead. (Behind you is tram.) So you can take left or right path round the pool, I think the right path is slightly quicker. Anyway, 20 or 30 paces and you're there. This is not Diamond City so there are no wares on view! The building looks like nothing meaningful at all. I probably passed UC a dozen times earlier. Everything is sterile and characterless in New Atlantis, so any one of the buildings could be a bank or a tax office or security building or whatever!

Just fast travel to residential district. It's where 90% of all shops and trade building are in the city. Don't go to commercials district. There aren't any shops there. There are also like 1 or 2 shops right at/around the ship landing area.

2 shops in Commercial selling basic goods(UC Distribution and Outlanders)
1 by the spaceport
A milsurplus store and an electronics store in the Well

TBH Akila City is better for trading, particularly for weapons.

There is a gun shop in the residential district and several in the Well. Do a mini quest for Salinas down there, he will become another trader selling guns and ammo. And the Trade Authority is your best friend, they will buy all your contraband and stolen goods.

Lots of shops in New Atlantis. And no, most of them are not in the residential district, that’s fake news.
I am sooo glad they spent all that UC Tax Money on all those Blue Kiosks placed all over the city. It truely warms my heart.

FYI Akilla City has Yellow ones.
Theres more then those, Theres a Gunshop, Theres a clothing shop, a couple of resturants, a medical facility, youll need to look at your map to find em.

Exactly. And Bethesda spent money on their excellent map that shows every available shop.

There's a gun shop in the residential district, there are a couple shops in the commercial district, several more in the well, including the Trade Authority, and a shop or two near the spaceport as well.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
