In this thread we are going to follow the further development of Starfield Script Extender (SFSE). We will post known updates, limitations (etc.) while the project updates.

Current limitations

• Only available for Steam version of the game.

I guess people forgot about the nuts incident with the last stickied topic that lasted like a month. People gave me crap about wanting them to ban those involved. Yep. There are few notes.

• 0.2.6 for version 1.10.32 27.03.2024
  - Version independent loader.

The loader has been made version-independent due to continued problems with false positives. it should not need to be updated. this means that we lose out on a bit of diagnostic information (the loader no longer knows the latest version of the game). feel free to blame microsoft for this.

Hi Running SFSE loader 1.10.32 says; couldn't find SFSE dll in the folder. Is asking for sfse_1_11_36.dll

Version 1.12.30 not found. Yesterday I could start my Starfield as normal today, this message comes up and it seems no new Loader since 1.11.36 exist.

The game update just hit last night. Give 'em some time, and they will update sfse. :D

Thanks for the heads up, Vlad. Oddly enough, the one mod I use no longer seems to require launching from the SFSE loader as it did before the update.

I mainly use SFSE for modding my ship, well one mod allows you to use any class (A, B, C,M) of ship parts too.
