i for one am astonished that someone known for his sweet little lies would just LIE (again)
Same.
OP, your overhype is not the fault of a developer. Take responsibility for your own actions and don't blame it on someone else.
But overall the game is great!
You definitely have to take that guy with a grain of salt. He is great salesman.
In some cutscenes in the ending, for a split second, you may see a random asteroid in the
background while a character is talking. The asteroid is procedurally generated. So in my ending, it may be the shape of an asteroid that is different than the shape of your asteroid.
I think you owe Mr. Howard an apology.
just remember one thing - do not eat too much pop corn, because i expect a lot of "reviewers" to become simply "pimps" for bethesda
Wrong advertisiment is actually prohibited in some countries.
But suddenly its ok now because....i am hyped. Wtf
Except there wasn't any wrong advertising.
They never said there wasn't loading screens. They never said this was NO mans sky..
in-fact they were pretty forward about the loading screens.. You can't take off and land on planets manually.. that suggests *Gasps* a loading screen....
They also said this is like Oblivion/Skyrim in space... Which again would suggest loading screens since that's what that game had, and they said the experience is nearly identical.
There is literally nothing in this game that was sold other than what it is.
And if your argument is "but they never said directly there was loading screens!" Yea.. neither has any other game.. ever...

Even with a tight story line and focused missions (i.e. not endless travel) I was expecting that at least the game will be advanced enough to let players fly from planet surface to space and vice-versa like No Man's Sky. But far from that the characters can't even enter rooms and places and NAT without a cut-screen and loading screen transitions.
NPC movement logic is totally unfurnished as they spawn, disappear in front of camera, in front of closed NAT doors, in front of closed lifts and doors. During dialogues with your characters, the NPCs come in between you and speaking characters and eclipse them while looking at the player until some new movement direction kicks in randomly.
