Sound issue

Whenever I am not facing a person talking the voice just cuts out completely, anyone know how to fix that? I don't seem to have my ears placed on my forehead so I am not quite sure how exactly it is I can only hear stuff I am looking at directly.

I had that issue. Discovered that I installed the game on my HDD and not the SSD, but resolved it when I reinstalled on the SSD. Now I am having issues with sound effect not happening. I will shoot a gun and it will be completely silent, hit someone with a melee attack and it's completely silent, jump and make no noise at all. Worst part is when I am shot at and can not heat any of the gunfire... voice dialog works just fine though.

I only have m.2 SSD's so it can't be that, also seems like a weird thing to do that, sadly the game has zero audio options outside of volume so not much I can play around with.
