Sensitive people ruined gaming

Gaming used to be about having fun. This new generation of sensitive individuals has turned gaming into a "toe the line or get banned" expereince that many people went to gaming to escape the mundane day to day life.

This is why we are seeing the addition of pronouns and lack of white NPCs as political correctness is now considered mandatory.

They label anything that is outside of their version of fun as toxicity and demand anyone who "offends" them is banned. The AAA devs comply with these demands.

Meanwhile, they are all in agreement that karens are the worst people in existence, yet they are the biggest Karens the world has ever seen.

I have not and will not purchase this game nor do I really care that gaming has devolved into snowflake safespace. It is just an explanation to all the other threads on here complaining about wokeness.

To them I say: Its not going anywhere. The gaming industry markets to the younger generations.

But it wasn't lol This stuff been in games for a decade almost now you just found out today is all lol. RPG games normally first ones to embrace new stuff like female char options and same sex couples. I mean you literally can skip all that stuff, but you can't can you? I mean how do you guys live day to day? I mean you can't live half the planet right now wiht out going outside and seeing this in real life.

i really dont understand why western tripple a games put this stuff in the game, do they get paid a bonus by the government for doing so or something?

im glad asian games are not onboard with this so i can still play those to escape from reality, which is what games should all be about

edit: i dunno what point they are trying to make with this but its turning something that ive never been bothered about, into something i want to actively block out of my life and reject it. in a way this is probably dividing people more than ever. but maybe thats the whole point, to sow discord among humanity

Funny, the only sensitive people I've seen are those complaining about optional pronouns that they don't have to pick, and complaining that all NPCs aren't white.

What we are seeing here play out in real time is MS buying Z in 2020 for 7.5 bils and using it to force NSFW DEI into its games and then those at Beth possibly including Todd himself secretly sabotaging the game because of where MS forced them to take it, into the NSFW DEI world. Remember that kids play Beth's games and most of those at Beth could not accept MS' NSFW DEI push into their games, thus the issues.

You misundertake me, NSFW DEI stuff in games has its place in NSFW games, NOT in games that kids play. I couldn't care less what DEI does in the privacy of their NSFW games, just keep it out of the games our children play. Same goes for our schools, our sports, our coolers, our libraries, our parades, etc. They/them is a non-binary reference indicative of one's adult preferences or lack thereof and belongs in private not in public. And obscenity and decency laws already on the books dictate such.
