Its beautiful too, once you finish the game you wake up in this ship and its yours. You sadly cant edit it tho. Only way to pilot this ship is finishing the game

51,000 is a good price for that thing.

The cargo hold is big. The shields are decent. And it can hold five crew members.

Not the greatest offensive firepower, though.

I really wish any damage increasing perk for spaceship weapons affected the starborn ships weapons. Seems like a big let down.

when u get to extreme end game, building your own Class C ship with 40 power reactor u turn into a bringer of death. Your ship can obliterate basically anything in a matter of seconds. Only problem is it costs a metric ♥♥♥♥ ton of credits to build, and you lose it when you decide to NG+.

I wish we could but you can't build on it or upgrade it; sad cause it's my favourite ship but it has 0 workbenches, can't upgrade it's weapons, can't upgrade engines, no modules, just a very very VERY basic ship.

You can’t be serious?! This is easily one of the worst ships in the game, at least on the first ng+. In terms of weaponry you are better off just ditching it and going back to the frontier or basically any other ship.

Just because its not that great doesnt mean i cant love it, besides its not even that bad i mainlylove the view in the cockpit tho

It has pretty basic amenities. If I don't expect combat then I would rather use Frontier.

Sorry, but it looks shi##y. There are a good amount of appealing ships to be bought from the various shipyards and merchant. These can be modified. Also, 1000 Cargo is useless. Im at Level 20 and already have enough resources loaded on my ship for 2000+ Cargo.

The best ship is the one that has 6000 Cargo capacity, the rest of the stats you can upgrade to make it a battleship+freighter. Or build a custom one from scratch.

All you need to do is build a base and store your cargo there, thats the only place youll use your resources anyway.

Nah, it is not even close to the best ship. Anything I can build blows that one out of the water. Which is a shame. I wish it was moddable.
