You USE it with your use key for chlorine and water dunno how with argon though.

Everytime I even try to get near the Argon to mine it it burns me with an alert.

Exit the scanner tool first then press the use key to harvest it.

All the Gases you mine the "e" key. But you need to turn of the Scan Mode for that.

gas nodes - you need to up your air protection. (seems odd given we're in a dang space suit most times.)

walk up to them and you get a harvest option. - if your protections good enough can grab w/o getting hurt.

That took me like 15 hours to figure it out. Just like the "Hide your spacesuit in settlements" button. Great game by the way. Those of us who enjoy it don't have time to post. Seems like a whole troll army out there in the forums.

You will see gas nodes quite easily, BUT, they need to have a deposit sitting on top of it to get the gas. And water.

Just go to a planet that has water on it and land in the middle of nowhere and go hunting, the full planet scan will give a clue to where to likely get the resource you want.

Also if you see caves in the distance some are quite good and have gases and liquid nodes.

In the inventory when equipping space suit / helmet. Check the options at the bottom

Press the reload key (default R) for a long press to holster weaps.

No way to switch to actual fists unless you unequip weapon though so swapping to empty hotkey should do that.

Some things show up as highlighted areas on the terrain, I'm guessing we'll need to build extractors for those.
