everything in my house just got deleted.....

went home to drop off some stuff and everything was freaking gone! all my furniture, chests with literally all my collected items.... EVERYTHING IS ♥♥♥♥ GONE! WHAT THE FRICK!
I had some really cool unique stuff in storage as well :(
for no ♥♥♥♥ reason at all my whole ass house got reset to when it was initially purchased....

I dont know if this is happening to outposts aswell, but for now AVOID USING THE PENTHOUSE IN NEW ATLANTIS! that is where this happened to me!

This post is old but this specific issue seems to still affect the new atlantis penthouse awarded for completing the UC questline. i have a theory as to why it could be happening but im no game dev so meh. Anyway ship and the lodge storage seems to be safe, havent had any issues in my 130+ hours of playtime across multiple characters. There was an issue with displays but that was fixed in the most recent patch. For now dont use that apartment for anything important.

well my bad, i was just speaking of what bethesda origionaly stated just before they launched the game, then they took that post down because of some backlash issue because people compalind about it, and now that's no longer required, however they could still update your game whenever they want and so long as your not playing with your steam set to online, you might just accidently download the update and this is what the updates often do, how do i know this, because it's like this with every other bethesda made game they have created.

so excuse me for being wrong about something they changed shortly after i posted this comment weeks ago when it was origionally there at the time, but i get it, time doesn't change when your reading old comments like mine at the time and you want to correct the error weeks after the fact, i think it's actually been about a month since i posted this but whatever.

Ive heared like... 1 hour ago in a YT vid there are 3 or 4 moments related too story lines where stuff in new atlantis gets reset.

This means you just completed a story line mission for one of the main factions and the completion of that mission caused a reset for the inside of your home.

Just finished "High Price to pay" and my Well apartment is empty. I lost my UC Vanguard gear which was fully upgraded, my Constellation set, a cool pirate set, my Deputy gear, a few unique weapons and all the furnishings. It might well be tied to what state the city is in, as this mission changes ♥♥♥♥.

Its not just that, the "max placeable count" wont reset....so if you place every item the often you can, you cant place anything new if it disappeared!

this is just the consequences of purchasing an early access game at launch, that's still in devlopment.
it's all about the growing pains of being a beta tester.

but hey, not all is bad, in 3 to 5 years from now, this game will be GOTY at that point and you who purchased this game would have sacrificed for the rest of us who have yet to purchase this game, you will imporve the issues with this title and make it worth that full price, it's just unfortunate you had to pay full price for an early access game.

theres a bug where a questline that takes place in new atlantis, causes everything thats not instanced to be reset. The lodge is fine because it has its own instance
