We need a Moon Buggy!
We really do need some sort of little 2 man buggy we can drive around in and store items in. We had those in like the first moon landing IRL? How do we not have them in this game lol? Mass effect gave you a tank lol and star citizen has speeders that can fit in ships with cargo holds. I just think its a bit of an odd oversight in a game with 1000 random gen planets for mining, maybe the vehicle could have mined as well.

We had those in the first moon landing in REAL LIFE? Gonna need some source on that boyo. Last I checked, we didn't have moon buggies on the first landing.

+1 A moon buggy would be nice. Land vehicle dlc please.

No doubt vehicle dlc is coming. My guess is the big one will be some kind of mech you can pilot, upgrade, customize, etc.
Lucius Confucius Sep 3, 2023 @ 1:29am
I'd rather not have a mech. Rovers are cooler.

Well you are definitely getting both. Or one that functions as both.

Starfield isn't a space sim nerd, go play Star Citizen then
/s

The game engine probably can't handle player-controlled vehicles in a cell, at least in a stable way. (looking at you FNV and FO4 Vertibird, motorcycle, and car mods)

I mean, we can't even fly our ship in-atmosphere, think about the amount of work and effort BGS would need to model the physics and collisions a land vehicle has across different terrains and biomes.

(P.S. They're lazy)

50 years ago since we last went to the moon. Quite tragic that.

You're on a PC forum, talking about a PC game, set in a made up sci fi universe, on a PC no doubt build for gaming, costing hundreds to thousands of £, you know about star citizen, and you're name is..... AGENT ORANGE. Did you just seriously try to insult me by calling me a Nerd? in a Platform, Media, Forum made for nerds?

I think you're in self denial. If you want I can help you set up a 4 step plan to identify your suppressed feelings and get rid of the giga chad sleeps with all the ladies he wants and not a nerd image you think you have... Because boiiiiiiiiiiii i think you have some serious issues going on.

No doubt huh? Interesting...

Mechs are banned in-lore under the Starfield equivalent of the Geneva Conventions due to causing excessive loss of human life during the previous wars.

(I think it's just BGS being lazy again)

If it does come, it might be a war DLC where the 3 factions vie for control over each and every settled planets. Or some interstellar alien race appears, threatening humankind which necessitates the use of Mechs in war again.

Did you just quote in game sci fi lore? Not going to lie, that sounds pretty NERDY to me.

Sounds like fun.

Sarcasm doesn't work over steam forums. There's a lack of vocal tone and facial expressions.
