One thing i know for sure - the horrible inventory system is due to the console controls. Would be so easy to make a drag&drop like inventory like in NoMansSky.
Cargo-linked ships never arrive at desired outpost, but are always taking off/landing at origin location.
This system isnt ready yet and we're now beta testers.
Yeesh..
It's the best economic sim on the market.
If your ships go missing, it's because they were attacked by pirates.
Suddenly I wasn't getting copper from op 3 and op 3 was putting its own materials into the incoming container instead of outgoing like it did for the past hour.
Even when it works, the container limits are too small for the scale of things.
The cargo moving thing fills up fast and even though you can transfer from it to the ship via the ships cargo hold, it suddenly stops. Going outside and I find storage containers that feed the cargo mover are full....
I could get temporary relief by deleting the cargo links and setting them up again.
Honestly, I gave up and just used my largest cargo ship to transport resources back and forth manually. - This and other bugs
-the mannequins/display cases losing gear,
-the irritating snapping issues when building,
-and not being able to land on landing pads. (This I got around by going to the console of the empty pad and making a small change such as changing my home ship and changing it back and saving. Then the ship would appear on the pad)
-and the workstation obstructed bug (Save and reload)
makes me feel that the program is still in beta or earlier.
For example, say you have 3 outposts in a single system, and each out post has 2 resources. Two outposts will have one cargo link to the third outpost which recieves the output of those 2 outposts. The third outpost will also have an inter link to your hub base in another system. That inter link will carry 6 reresources from that system to your main hub.
