30fps vs 60fps 1080p
So i have a decent PC and i've never not been able to run a game at 60fps(besides star citizen). I was unaware that Starfield wouldnt have any texture change settings. Im running a 3060Ti, Ryzen 7 3700x and 16gb ram, i am unable to hold a constant 60 fps at 1080p unless its on a very barren planet/space/interiors, and thats at everything on LOW graphics settings.

With that being said, i can force the game into 30FPS lock with NVIDIA control panel and turn every setting to ultra and run it fine, or put it back to low settings and run it at 60fps with frame drops.

Just looking for opinions on this, what do some of you think is better and or what should i do? I'm almost leaning towards the 30fps option but im not quite sure what to pick.

i have a friend with the same rigs as yours, if you have tried tweaking the settings, but only see 5-10fps improvement and your cpu n gpu usage is not even above 50%, then you should wait for official/mod patch as this game (with the current graphics not so different from other AAA games nowadays) is poorly optimized
