[Bug] Quest Lock - Shadows in Neon

I'm supposed to follow Jaylen Price.
He got in an elevator, the quest mark now links to the elevator controller
Interacting with the elevator control brings up the elevator modal and the quest icon is beside Sky Suite (RESTRICTED)
I can't access Sky Suite because it's restricted.
How do I proceed?

Quick saving and loading doesn't help.
Travelling to another floor first doesn't help.

I ran into a mission breaking bug earlier, too, but for a different mission. Since there isn't a clear way to advance quests using the console like in other Bethesda games yet, the only thing I could do was reload an older save.

It's probably a good idea to do a hard save at the start of every quest/mission since it saved me here.

Going back to the autosave before the follow quest part doesn't help (also, side note: if your'e going to force us to walk with people, ensure that they are either as slow as our walk speed or as fast as our run speed, in between is garbage).

I hope this is just a bug. I finished the mission where you get that anomaly piece, but when Slayton let's us go, the elavator wants me to go to the Sky Suite. Can't build that cause it's like 200,000 credits. Unless there's another way to go around, I feel like I'm stuck.

EDIT: Restarting the game fixed it for me.

Jaylen is not supposed to go to that elevator, I restarted the game and load the autosave before when he goes on the street, he took another path. Otherwise you can try player.moveto command but dunno where you'll end.

My whole mission is missing, after i talked to Nia

Same issue here with the restricted elevator. I am just waiting for console commands or a potential patch

Found a work around for this. Once Price enters the elevator fly off galaxy and back. Make sure you land at Neon and not where the quest for Price is. Run back on foot towards the quest marker (do not fast travel anywhere make sure you run from the pad) in doing so Price will run towards your character at a certain distance from the quest marker. Follow him and he goes a different route this time. Hope this works for everyone else experiencing this issue.

That worked! Running from the Neon landing pad and just following the quest marker took me to a different route and Price just spawns. This will be the fix if anyone else is having issues. I was actually several dozen hours past this point and the recc by swoledell fixed it for me

I have the same problem like Cityfield above. I finished the Quest with Nia and she told me i shall fly to Neon because Jaylen Pryce needs help. But that doest turn into a Mission. Also went to Neon and found Jaylen but it doesnt triggert a new Mission...just a little Conversation....

I Reset game, loaded save, and switched floors. Went back to the lobby and walked outside and he kinda just appeared and went a different way. Not sure which one fixed it so just try some messing around first. Better if you have contraband and don't want to go through the scan again

I personally doubt there will be a solution so fast. This is a total Questline breaking bug. Without this Mission you wont be able to become a whole member of the Freestar Rangers. Guess we have to wait till Bethesda hopefully release a bugfix.
