GTX1060 6Gb owners should not buy Starfield !?.
Being an owner of a recently upgraded PC, except my GTX1060 which is still
able to play pretty much any game on high/ultra settings that i've thrown at it,
i started to get worried when i saw the MIN REQ GPU being an AMD1090TI .

I run a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.60 GHz with 32Gb DDR5
and my steady companion, the GTX1060 6Gb.

So am i now SoL and need to spend another 3-400$ on a new GPU just
to be able to enjoy this game !?, when i could play Cyberpunk EASILY on ultra,
and even Star Citizen without any issues.

I smell poor optimization .

You should not buy this BlackRock product regardless of your GPU

I mean Cyberpunk is now a pretty old game and Star Citizen isn't even one at all so... sure.

Could you elaborate on your statement please ?.

I refunded and I have a 3080. It runs terribly.

It ran fine for my GTX1060 and i7 on medium settings in 1080p. The problem was the game is utter trash.

There is no way you played Cyberpunk on Ultra easy with a 1060. Before I upgraded to my 4080 I still had my 1070 and I didn't play Cyberpunk on Ultra easily with that lol. Granted I was on 1440p, so maybe if you're on 1080p it's possible but even still I highly doubt it.

So it's as i thought, the game has bad performance and serious optimization issue.

Youll be fine. TAA kills performance in games, shadows and post processing. 1060 was never a weak card to begin with and with the above settings off I'm sure it can handle 1080p low at stable 30 fps or better.

I play Cyberpunk on everything Ultra with that same setup. I may not get 60+ fps but I don't care in single player games.

Gtx 1060 came out in 2016, 7 years have passed, and technology is advancing faster and faster, yes, you should update your graphics more often.

I've seen the game on low, it looks like ♥♥♥♥. I want to be able to run in high 1080
at the very least, like i run all games, either high or ultra 1080.
But now when i've been told that the game runs like trash on even highend PCs,
i'm questioning the optimizaion and if it would even with worth buying a new GPU
if the GPU's aren't the issue.. but the game is.

It's still a very viable GPU even for todays games. But if a 3080 can't perofrm
well in this game, what insane requirements is there to play this on high 1080p...

The minimum spec says rx5700 or 1070ti.
I have an rx5700XT, and run at 1440p, 85% resolution, medium settings, with FSR2 on, and get mostly over 60fps. Overall the game looks and runs well IMO.
I would guess the game would be playable for you on low settings but idk what you would personally consider "playable".
Apparently the game was designed for 30fps at 1440p on the older xbox so my 5700XT is doing better than I expected.
