"In memoriam" bug?

I need to go to the Cassiopeia system. But, the map is sending me to the Carinae system. When I get there, there's no marker for me to follow nor anything to look to.

Any idea what to do here?

SOLVED: Jover over Carinae and navigate below it and highlight ETA Cassiopeia. Then you can select that to jump to.

What if your on Cassiopeia and the mission doesn’t update

I am in Cassiopeia also, and in the location, but nothing is happening. Have Sarah with me, but doesn't wanna talk.

In my instance, i go to the quest marker at the crash site and the quest doesnt trigger/progress. My sarah thinks shes everywhere but casseopia and keeps repeating that we need to go there and we need to prepare for casseopia, even thought we are on the damn planet :(

I have the same issue I go all around her ship and on Cassiopeia I and the mission marker does not update.

i went back to the lodge, tried to get rid of her, which you can't. Then from the lodge i flew back to Cassiopeia and somehow she decided to talk to me. I've been stuck on Sarah not taking the hint she was near her wreckage forever like you guys lol

Yeah even going to another planet in the same system fixed this for me.. Just make sure to leave the planets orbit and then come back and hopefully it fixes itself

I've done that about 10 times but maybe 11 will do the trick

You need to press A to toggle the systems. Or, you can hover with the mouse. You will see two dots you can choose from. This happens with a couple of systems from what I've seen.

If you go straight to the power cell and power up her ship it will work, I'm on Xbox and it worked for me.

Found a solution on both pc & controller, when u go to starmap & click on carinae use ur mouse to click specifically on ETA cassuopeia & on controller just use dpad down to select eta cassuopeia, hope it helps.

I'm having a similar issue. When I arrive on Cassiopeia Sarah doesn't realize she's on Cassiopeia and when done talking to her she says something about 'next stop Cassiopeia I presume'. So it's like the game doesn't realize I'm on the correct planet. Another thing, I've noticed, the blue mission point is actually some 20 odd meters above the camp site. I even tried jumping off the huge rock arch to try to hit the mission point but that didn't work, I just fall through it. I can pick up the battery from the table outside the shuttle but when I go to put it in the power bank on the wall next to the computer, it says I don't have a battery in my inventory. If you google this mission there are all kinds of problems with it. I hope they get it fixed soon. I want to play this game with other characters other than Sarah but right now I'm stuck with her until I can complete this mission... Also, I've tried unassigning Sarah from the ship, assigning another person, reassigning her, sleeping for the maximum amount of time, and going to another planet and back to Cassiopeia I. Nothing has worked for me. I've also tried going to the lodge and talk to all the other people there and trying to dismiss her (even though you can't). Nothing has worked for me...

ive found a solution that worked for me. every time i talked to her she walked away and couldnt progress further. so what i did was i went to the memorial (fairly close to the edge of the circle in front of the fire) and used the console command to bring her to me. to do this press ` and click on sarah to get her code id. Then type "code id".moveto player. talk to her and youll be able to finish the conversation.
