We'll see how cheap it gets when it's on sale, and what the modding community does with it. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if they find a way to monetize the mods and finally put the dagger in the heart of the modding community.

Eh, I'm having fun ... the game isn't perfect but it's pretty much what I expected, which is Fallout in space.

FO4 is the main reason I don't own Starfield ATM and will give it a peep on Gamepass Tuesday. There is just no reason to buy a Bethesda game at release. Without a wide variety of mods they are shallow sandboxes. With certain mods some like Skyrim are top 10 or even #1 to me ATM.

Absolutely not. I judge each game based on what it brings to the table. For example, Witcher 2 and 3 were absolutely amazing games in my humble opinion. Cyberpunk was a dumpster fire of a game, that may or may not have gotten better. That doesn't mean I won't ever buy another CD Projekt game because I dropped Cyberpunk after I found out it was an unplayable mess at launch. If the next game they release in 2050 looks good, I'm on it.

fool only buy from Bethesda. like do people have short memory or something, hello. fallout 4 and 76 are not too old. Also i would put the blame on Bethesda mostly. starfield was in development long before microsoft acquired their parent company. so i don't believe it for one second it's not Bethesda mostly. the next elder scroll only got announced to make fan shut up about the 76 controversy.

like do people are too impatient to wait one week for real reviews to come out. DON'T PRE ORDER. you are not buying a physical copy here, it will never run out. the game will be still here for years to come.

if you like the game. well at least wait for modders to make the game better but it will never be perfect.
