Bug Report: No Helmet in zero O2 environments
I encountered this a few times so far: If i enable the option "Dont show helmet in settlements" it even removes the helmet outside said settlements, no matter if an 0 atmosphere ice globe or a inhabitable Eden. Bit immersion breaking to say the leaast ;-)

same here, I had experienced this before, but putting on the suit and then taking it off or reloading the game used to fix the bug. However, after it happened many times, that method of reloading the game, putting on and taking off the suit, just stopped working. I could simply go to the moon without any damage or harm, even naked.

@HerrElscheud do you use any mod? or this bug appears without mods?

Entirely vanilla aside of modded DLSS support for better looks. But no gameplay changes.

Man, you can walk on VENUS naked, and nothing happens to you except of your max health going down (like radiation ion FO4). You will die after a minute or so, but it's still impressive for 100 atmospheres and 400 C environment. No status effect applied if you move back to your ship before dying too

I found what caused the spacesuit bug and how to fix it, and the answer is airlocks or pressure doors.

Some bases have these doors, and if you have the 'hide helmet in breathable areas' option enabled and you enter a base with airlocks and reach a point where you can exit the base, it bugs your oxygen, making it so that planets with zero O2 don't harm you.

There are also airlocks that are incorrectly placed, for example, one side is from space to the base, and the other side is from the base to space. I found a door that led to space, and it treated it as if I were entering a base, so it wouldn't put on my helmet, but if I went back, the helmet would be put back on. However, since the game detected that I was in a base, it would remove it again.

I'll leave a video of the bug I found.

Solution: If you encounter the same bug as me and become immune to zero O2, look for an airlock or pressure door, go in and out multiple times until it puts on your helmet, and remove the jetpack. For some strange reason, it doesn't detect that you have a spacesuit if you don't have a jetpack.
