Mouse position in TAB menu's - bug report (with work around)
I'm finding that while in most any menu system (Tab), a RMB click will throw your cursor far left on the screen and appears to get stuck to the left side.

I believe I've finally figured out what's going on here and would love to see a fix.
I have an ultra-wide double monitor, the menu screens only display in the middle for a standard monitor display. It seems the mouse cursor range doesn't get restricted to the menu screen and the "mouse position" continues beyond the display border and continues both left and right of the menu display but still only shows the mouse within the menu borders.

This results in your mouse appearing to get stuck on the left side of the screen even though it'll move up and down, same for the right side of the screen. If you keep moving your mouse to the opposite side (right if stuck on left side) it will eventually come back into the operations coordinates of the menu window and work again until you again go outside the coordinates for the menu screen. A bit annoying but recoverable.

I have the same issue on Samsung Odyssey G9 (5120x1440). I have black bars on both sides, because Starfield doesn't support that resolution (it is weird in 2023, but ok). I have 2 issues with mouse position during setting custom markers on planets (when I click, marker appears like 5-7cm on the right) and while building ships (the cursor is "extended" to the right).

I'm having the same issue. It keeps snapping to the left side of the screen whenever I'm in a conversation with somebody. I have to drag it from the far left side of the screen, click the line of text, then it snaps back to the left side of the screen and I have to drag it back again...it's really annoying.

I also use the g9, Set the Resolution in the Windowssetting to 2560x1440.
This will at least fix the shipbuilder.
Btw works in nearly every Game that doesnt Support ultra wide screens

While this does help fix the display of my screen in normal game play, it doesn't solve the side bar/mouse issue I described. These dialogue menu's remain at normal screen size for interaction and the mouse still suffers from the disconnect between actual position and display position.
