Cough/Lung Damage

Does anyone know why I keep getting lung damage? I recently arrived to New Atlantis and paid a visit to Reliant Medical. I was cured of all afflictions, but an hour later (still on New Atlantis) walking around I got it again. What gives?

I got it when an Ecliptic mercanary blew up a gas canister next to me. The clinic in the Well fixed me right up and it hasn't returned. Maybe try the med for it? I've forgotten which one it was.

so is it something I should just expect to always get? I know it affects stealth.

I have been using antibiotics to treat it, but the cough lingers. I am playing a stealth build with chameleon armor and it is making me noticeable! Anyone found a way to fully treat it?

from what I've read online, it seems this might be a bug. I visited the doctor on new atlantis, I've used antibiotics and still it comes back. hoping this either gets fixed when the game officially releases next week. If not that, then there is something we are doing wrong and I can't figure it out lol

Im having almost constant lung damage. Going to doctor or taking a med pack takes it away for a while but it always comes back sooner or later.

Antibiotics don't cure lung damage, you need to use Injector. Read the descriptions on the various aid items, different ones for different conditions.
