Extreme solar radiation doesn't seem to bother me?

not sure if this is a bug, but i got an "extreme solar radiation" warning by the mars landing pad....but it means nothing. its not hurting my health at all even though it says "suit protection depleted"

I have 40 radiation resistance...
I can't find a radiation indicator...and am verry confused.
have u found an answer, by now?

did you also realize that they just replaced the stamina meter with o2 and its not real oxygen or any sort of realistic space physics?????????? This isn't a space game its an Oblivion reskin

no. though something similar happened with extreme cold. after a while with no warning i just developed hypothermia

And after a while, in a mine.
the beeping stopped, and I got a green symbol, indicating my suit is replenishing...
I'm confused, it seems like there is some kind of -meter, that I have failed to notice (?)

I’m curious what you think “realistic space physics” entails in regards to planetary exploration.

It is also definitively NOT an Oblivion reskin.

Skyrim, maybe, but even that’s a stretch with the way skills, leveling and combat works. Closer to Fallout with space travel.

Yea, I'm really confused. Theres also no character stats screen so I can't look at any of the buffs or debuffs that are affecting my character.

I've noticed this as well. Not getting any type of radiation sickness, but I've had frostbite, burns from extremely hot rain, lung damage from dust storms, and have been poisoned from gas vents.

It reduces the protection of your suit. You are more likely to gain afflictions when damaged.

I don't get that either. My effects also say, "suit protection depleted" but I still don't get any damage and massive stellar radiation should cook me pretty quickly.

Came here for the radiation question, but the best name for it I've hear is No Man's Skyrim.

Sure there is. Hit TAB, then at the bottom right, hit B for "Status". On the left of your screen, scroll down one category to "Character" for "Damage Resistances".
