And limited storage space at that with 460 or so to start (command module + mid module + rear module). All except the last ship in the store has more, most are around 200-300. Youll find if you do any mining at all this fills up really quick.
To solve this I move all my stuff from the ship to my personal room in The Lodge, which seems to have an unlimited storage.
You cannot fly from surface to space through atmo and vice-versa. You can't (as far as I know) can't even dock manually with other ships or stations.
When you actually board your ship it's a lot like Mass Effect/Outer Worlds, there's a loading screen going from outside to inside or inside to outside.
Seems like if they postponed for just another year or so they could've added that quality of life mechanic into the game for a vast majority of players who were wanting it.
Such a Shame!
Remember that this game will be modded and the things the devs were to lazy/cheap or otherwise restricted from doing, modders will do it better.
Cool go play it. Ill trade being able to fly around nonsensically with a ♥♥♥♥ ass story or nonexistent one, to having an entertaining story and awesome sets and things to do. That's a space sim this is not!~ Its an RPG in space. You can fly your ship to a planet, its realistic so its gonna take Real time. If you haven't noticed when you scan your planet and see how far it is. When your flying, the LS or the M go down. Its there. Don't be fooled. But again this isn't a Space Simulator. Its Skyrim in Space. Its Fallout in Space! Why cant anyone see that? Are you all a bunch of 12 year olds? Like that's how you're all acting, like you have no clue about how games work and how much time that would take to make? Just look at SC -13 years -600 mill and its not even completed. Now if you excuse me I'm going to get food and coming back home to play more SF! I'm happy, you're not. I win!
Modders will turn this into a legitimate GOTY contender.
Because the number of planets and the means to get there are the exact same thing.
Agreed ....
Yes. Also, I don’t think people realize the vastness of space and the scale involved. Just because you see two planets next to each other doesn’t mean you can fly there in a minute or two. These things are billions of kilometres apart. The grav drive makes sense as it would take flying through empty space for hours, at sun-light speeds. That’s just within a star system. Stars are light years apart, a light year is 25 trillion km.
modders don't have that much free time to remake the entire game to fix it.
there are better options out there for that.
though I like your optimism.
this is missing way too much to be considered for game of the year.
Starcitizen, elite dangerous, or no mans sky, i.e, three games that actually have outer space gameplay elements and not there as just a backdrop to give you the illusion of outer space.
