Where does Steam stores the saves?

I've seen people say Documents/My Games but that folder didn't exist. I've check in AppData/Local/Starfield but that only has a pipeline.cache file. My game saves just fine, I just want to find where the physical files are stored. The game is clearly saving them somewhere..

For me, it's storing them in Documents > My Games. For some reason mine are being stored in OneDrive so C:\Users\{username}\OneDrive\Documents\My Games

Might be different for you I'm not sure, I'm not aware I've configured anything manually for that

I have the Steam version and the save files are in:
C:\Users\yourUserName\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Saves.

Obvious you replace 'yourUserName' by your own user name.

^ Unfortunately I don't have saves in any of those folders. But my game is saving and I can load them. I don't understand...

Strange. So when I exit and save it seems to make that file:
Exitsave0_CAD1462A_52656F20536B79_001046_20230902174736_8_0_4.sfs

So maybe try to scan your directories for a file starting with 'Exitsave0_CAD'.

Other type of files are named 'Autosave1_CAD......' and Quicksave0_CAD.... Must be the Auto save and Quick Save files.
